the canal-side location was the inspiration for a structure that looks to evoke a series of waterside boatsheds, with the concept being extended as far as to include a traditional canal barge fitted with self-service beer fonts!  reclaimed materials were used widely to provide a richness of finish and patina of age, while the form of the interior is unmistakeably contemporary, catering for a wide range of customers from morning coffee visitors, through dining families to traditional stand up drinkers.  

the salvaged lock gates that now form the car park entrance are my favourite and best value e-bay find to date!
