concept design

at this stage, my role as an architect really comes to life. the design process is highly collaborative, and together we will uncover creative possibilities that may not be immediately obvious. with years of experience in design and construction, I’ll offer fresh ideas while remaining aligned with your vision.

from concept design onwards, I work in 3D, producing imagery that allows you to clearly understand the design as it develops.  I can also offer a realistic architectural visualisation service providing a graphic preview of the surface finishes and lighting design for your project.

planning applications + listed building approvals

some projects require planning approval, and navigating this process can be challenging. my aim is to support you through every step, to ensure the very best chance of approval. with a successful track record of obtaining planning and listed building approvals across london and the south of england, I’m very experienced in handling the exacting requirements of local authority planning and conservation departments.

building control + technical drawings

the building control stage ensures that your project meets necessary technical standards including fire safety, structural, and energy efficiency . I will assist you in developing the required technical documentation - working drawings, schedules, and specifications - tailored to your project’s complexity and your desired level of detail. I will also coordinate with specialists where needed to ensure the technical aspects are fully covered.

construction + project management

I can guide you through the process of selecting appropriate builders, their appointment through competitive tender and then, once the project is underway, monitor progress and quality, with the aim of ensuring that the project is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

fees

my fees are tailored to the scope and nature of your project, as well as your preferred level of involvement. I provide a transparent and easy-to-understand fee proposal, broken down into a clear set of services to match your specific needs and the requirements of your project.
