west thames college is education architecture on a grand scale.  occupying the grounds of botanist, sir joseph bank’s former home, the college is surrounded by specimens of rare flora brought back from his famous trans-global expedition with captain cook.  the further education college campus was rebuilt from ground up with funding from the learning and skills council rebuilding programme.  our aim was to build with an exuberance and level of architectural quality not often found in projects of this nature.  the result creates an inspirational and stimulating learning environment that responds to west thames college’s dynamic and inclusive ethos.
