a 1930s semi with a traditional cellular plan was transformed for open plan living by combining the rear reception rooms and extending into the garden.   the centrepiece is a full height crittalls steel window which brings industrial chic to the space and a sense of connection with the garden.  the finishing touch is a sea of beautiful herringbone oak parquet and custom made light fittings.
